Ash Wednesday
February 22 starting at 6pm
We begin our observance of the season of Lent on Ash Wednesday, February 22, 2012. That evening we will have our annual Hearty Soup Meal at 6 pm in the Social Hall where we will be sharing hearty, home-made soups and bread, perfect for a winter evening. Following the meal we will adjourn to the Sanctuary at 7pm for a Service that will include Communion, Anointing and Ashes. There will be a children’s program downstairs in one of the Sunday School classrooms and infant care in the nursery during the worship service.
Congregational Meeting
Our Congregational Meeting is scheduled for Sunday, March 4th right after the 10am Service. We need at least 100 active church members to conduct our business so please plan on attending!

Beautiful Los Angeles Weddings

We welcome anyone to be married in either our Colonial Sanctuary or our more intimate Redwood Chapel.

First Christian Church of North Hollywood, long the home of "7th Heaven," has also been the backdrop for numerous films ("The Birdcage," "Death Becomes Her,") TV shows ("Bones," "The Office,") commercials ("Geico," "Jack in the Box") and music videos (Katy Perry.) Even Indiana Jones was 'married' here!
