
Jefferson was born and raised in Washington, D.C. and grew up with a keen interest in theatre and government, as well as a passion for American History. A long time member of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) he attended National City Christian Church in Washington, D.C. for many years and his family proudly counts six generations as members of the denomination. In 2007, Jefferson joined First Christian Church of North Hollywood, California as a volunteer Licensed Minister. He has been assisting in the four Sunday worship services as well as in the planning of additional programs and ministries. One area of ministry that is currently being developed is a Healing Ministry and with that the recent addition of a Wednesday evening Prayer, Meditation and Healing Service. He plans to continue his seminary education toward future ordination. Previously Jefferson directed the Youth Program at the Hollywood-Beverly Christian Church in Hollywood, California, that included a summer theatre program for youth and he has served in the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) Regional Office for the Pacific Southwest Region, assisting the Senior Associate Regional Minister. Jefferson studied at the Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theatre in New York after attending Montgomery College in Rockville, Maryland and Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas. |
