Louise Sloan Goben

 Rev.
Louise Sloan Goben became a member of the staff of First Christian Church
in 1993. Prior to this, she served as a ministerial intern at North
Hollywood in 1984-85. Louise has also served as Associate Minster
of Wilshire Christian Church, Los Angeles, and as Senior Minister of First
Christian Church, Rialto.
Louise is a graduate of Chapman University in Orange, Ca., having a BA and an MA in Clinical/Community Psychology. She is married to Rev. Galen Goben who is the minister of the Foothill Christian Church in La Crescenta. Louise and Galen met while attending seminary at The Claremont School of Theology. Together they have three sons, Christopher, Jeffrey and Neill. Louise is active in the Pacific Southwest Region of the
Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), participates in an Inter-Faith
Task Force to address Health Issues in Los Angeles and volunteers with
the North Hollywood Interfaith Food Pantry. Louise also serves on
the General Board/Administrative Committee of the Christian Church (DOC)
based in Indianapolis, IN.
