| Harbinger, meaning
"one who foreshadows the coming of a person or event," is a group of three
individuals who, through their songs, entertain, question and enlighten.
Harbinger
not only reflects the spirit of what has been, but what is to come.
According to songwriter Stephen Reinhardt, "The new age will be a golden age of spirituality. It will demand a new message, a new messenger, and a new consciousness. Each of us must do all we can, in any way we can, to prepare the way of the One who is to come. Harbinger was born out of our desire to return to God the fruits of our talents, and to devote our lives to His service - to "do what we came to do." Harbinger is comprised of vocalists Jon Joyce and Susan Boyd, and composer/lyricist Stephen Reinhardt. Each brings an impressive background to the group. Jon and Susan are established recording and commercial vocalists who have sung with artists including Frank Sinatra, Neil Diamond, Pink Floyd, Rod Stewart, Laura Branigan, Linda Rondstadt, Michael Jackson and Barbara Streisand in addition to singing for literally thousands of movies, television shows, recordings and commercials. Stephen has conducted and musically directed numerous Broadway shows including the original companies of Godspell, Doug Henning's The Magic Show and Studs Terkels' Working. |
