FCCNH has an excellent reputation for music in it's worship services. That is not an accident. Music has an important place in the lives of our Pastor, Bob Bock and of our congregation. But there are few opportunities today for our children to learn music like most parents were given as children. That is why FCCNH sponsors an annual MUSIC CAMP for children ages 5-14. The classes meet in the mornings 9-12 noon at the church. Classes will incorporate singing, playing instruments, music reading, listening, movement, and creative activities. 

Music enhances intelligence, provides an outlet for children's energies, and most of all, music is a language of the spirit. Learning to make music is a step toward sharing that language and that spirit.

If you wish to enroll, download the Registration Form and Medical Consent Form and follow the directions on the form or call 818-763-8218 and leave a message for Sheri Izzard in the office. You will be mailed information and entry forms. Scholarships are available.

Volunteers needed!

Volunteers are needed to help teach music classes, and/or organize and facilitate activities for Summer Music Camp. 

We are also hoping to borrow musical instruments for a week to be used by your own child or to lend to another child. (Keyboards, recorders, string instruments, or individual band instruments are needed).

This is an important and exciting ministry and we look forward to working with you. Call the church office and leave a message with your name and phone number for Sheri Izzard if you can help. Those who volunteered on the Music Camp Survey will be contacted. Any instruments which you could lend us for a week would be much appreciated.
