I have tried to credit the sources of many of these recipes.
However, when I first wrote this book for Leanne and Ed, I was just trying
to give the newlyweds some easy, but creative, recipes. No credits were
necessary. As interest grew, I began adding more recipes in hopeful anticipation
of a finished product... some day. On January 17, 1994, our famous 6.6
earthquake hit, and all my recipes and all of my Junior League cookbooks
were in a massive heap on the kitchen floor (not to mention the glasses,
china, clothing, pictures and fireplace). Therefore my apologies to anyone
or any special book for whom I may have omitted proper credit. Just blame
it on the earthquake and my bad memory.
