Summer Camps for Kids
Each summer FCCNH hosts a variety of camps that nurture, teach, develop and enable children to explore and discover their talents. Camps include Musical Theatre, Photography, Art, Cooking, and Vacation Bible School. Instructors are professionals who nurture and mentor the children. The FCCNH summer camps began over a decade ago and now attract hundreds of kids to this incredible experience of fun and exploration. Be sure to get your registration in early as these camps fill up quickly.

Children’s Camps – Summer Fellowship
Every summer our campus is alive with spirited explorations for youngsters. Camp has never been more expanding, uplifting… or FUN! We know you will want to consider our fun, wholesome, and affordable opportunities for your children!
Below are our offerings for the 2021 Summer. Camps are based on the Grade the child will be entering in Fall 2021.

Art Camp: July 12-16th (limited spots available)
Art camp is a full week of fun-filled and hands-on learning experiences! Everyday, your child will have drawing, painting, sculpture, and photography. Participants learn about color, value, form, line vs shape, and perspective. We explore a large variety of media and styles. The goal is to open up an avenue of creativity for each child, improving skills and introducing new ones. The creative week culminates with a gallery showing Friday, July 16th. Art camp runs from 9a – 3pm. Remember to pack your lunch!
This camp is open to Grades 2-10.
Cooking Camp 101: July 19-23rd – morning session (limited spots available)
FCCNH is proud to bring back Cooking Camp 101, where young campers can experience hands-on cooking and tasty lessons with fresh, affordable foods from diverse cultures, and even compete in a friendly team-building challenge! Our campers will learn cooking skills, kitchen and food safety through fun activities! Campers will also receive a recipe book to recreate everything they learned. Our Cooking Camp 101 runs July 19-23rd from 9:30a-12pm. Aftercare is available until 3pm for an additional cost.
This camp is open to Grades 3-7.
Cooking Camp 201: July 19-23rd – afternoon session (now open to grades 3-12!)
FCCNH is proud to bring back Cooking Camp 201, where campers can experience hands-on cooking and tasty lessons with fresh, affordable foods from diverse cultures, and even compete in a friendly team-building challenge! Our Cooking Camp 201 runs July 19-23rd from 12:30p-3pm.
This camp is open to Grades 3-12.
Photography Camp: July 26-30th (limited spots available)
All campers have the opportunity to learn the basics of digital photography through daily demonstrations and hands-on sessions in camera operation, composition, lighting, and seeing with an artistic eye photographing the church campus indoors and out. Also premiering: a stop motion workshop for those with phones. Campers should plan on bringing their own camera if they have access to one so they can learn its functionality. If not, we have cameras to share. SD memory cards are provided. Photography Camp is a half-day adventure between 9am-12:30pm. Additionally, campers can enroll in Advanced Photography from 12:30-3pm for a fee. Plan on packing a lunch if you are staying for the advanced camp portion. Camp concludes with a gallery showing on Friday at 12:00pm. (Please note – there is no aftercare for this camp.)

Musical Theatre: August 2nd-6th
Join us as we sing, dance, and act our hearts out on stage! This camp combines the joy of music, the excitement of dance, and the imagination of acting into a special musical theatre experience for young performers. Cast members will get an opportunity to share their own unique talents through the rehearsing, and performing of a broadway-style musical theatre production. Younger campers will have the rare opportunity to work alongside older seasoned students who will help show them the ropes when it comes to putting on a show and all of the hard work that it entails. This is an intense one-week camp that runs 9a-4pm! These campers will learn an entire show in only 5 days! We will have performances on Friday & Saturday August 6 & 7 at 7pm. There will be a matinee performance on Sunday August 8 at 12:30pm.
This camp is open to grades 3-12.
VBS: August 9-13th
Plant Seeds of Faith in your children and watch them grow! Welcome to Great Big Beautiful World!, an interactive vacation Bible school where children explore, celebrate, and care for God’s creation! The five Bible stories in this VBS lead children on an awesome adventure through the Bible, from Genesis to Revelation. Through worship and drama, Bible study, nature-themed art projects, active games ad science explorations, children will discover God’s love for all of creation. They will be challenged to care for God’s world in tangible ways – both during VBS and at home. VBS runs from 9a-12pm, and aftercare is available until 3pm for an additional cost.
VBS is open to potty trained kids – Grade 5.
